Data Migration Specialist

Role Overview

We are seeking a Test Lead – Data Migration & Validation to lead data integrity checks during system transition. You will report to the existing Senior Project & Test Leads and ensure accurate data replication and reconciliation under their supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• • Lead data reconciliation tests (full load, incremental, hash checks)
• • Write and execute complex SQL queries for validation and profiling
• • Monitor real-time data replication processes (e.g., GoldenGate)
• • Validate source-to-target data mappings and transformation rules
• • Identify and report data quality issues (duplicates, nulls, inconsistencies)
• • Collaborate with DBAs, developers, and test teams
• • Document validation results and exceptions

Requirements

• • Degree in IT, Data Science, or related field
• • Minimum 4 years in data testing, ETL validation, or database analysis
• • Advanced skills in Oracle SQL (joins, aggregations, subqueries)
• • Experience with CDC tools (e.g., GoldenGate) or ETL platforms
• • Understanding of task management and performance tuning in Oracle
• • Knowledge of financial data structures (e.g., positions, transactions)
• • Fluent in English and Cantonese
