Automation Tester (Programmer)

Role Overview

We are seeking a Tester/Programmer – Technical Testing to support technical validation and scripting tasks. You will report to the existing Senior Project & Test Leads and be assigned to support one or more Test Leads according to project requirements, contributing to the quality and reliability of a large-scale financial system.

Key Responsibilities

• • Assist in test case design and execution
• • Write scripts and utilities to support test automation or data setup
• • Perform technical validation of system interfaces and logic
• • Support defect reproduction and analysis
• • Collaborate with developers and testers in an Agile environment
• • Document test results and findings

Requirements

• • Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
• • 2–4 years of experience in software testing or development
• • Basic programming skills in Java, Python, or shell scripting
• • Familiarity with SQL, APIs, and web technologies
• • Understanding of testing concepts and tools
• • Strong learning attitude and teamwork skills
• • Fluent in English; Cantonese is preferred
